Minnesota BCA Permit to Carry Report 2008

The Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension released their 2008 report on permit holders today.

Interesting read if you’re into facts.  Seeing that people were denied their permits for being under 21 years of age is humorous.  Very interesting is that 10 crimes were committed by permit holders last year with their weapons.

The crimes include, assault, careless driving, carry under the influence, reckless handling of firearm, and terroristic threats.

That’s 10 bad apples out of nearly 57,000 permit holders.
